I'm looking to block the updater from checking for updates to not only the launcher, but the mod packs as well. Is there a setting for this or does someone know the URL the launcher checks for an update?
I'm not going to ask why you want to do this. Not sure about the launcher, but you can do it easily for the packs. Just set the pack to the version you want to use and not Recommended and it should not bother you to update again.
Not sure about a URL, but I believe all the packs and launcher downloads are provided by creeperhost servers.
