hi i have no idea what i'm doing. when I try to update to the launcher v1.3.4 the whole thing crashes and i also don't know where to find the logs can someone help
As for logs ensure that in the Options tab of the launcher 'Show Console?' and 'Reopen launcher after exiting minecraft' have a check mark in the box next to them. This will mean that hopefully the launcher and console will reopen after you close minecraft because of the error and the error will still show in the console. From there you click on the 'Paste my log to pastebin.com' button. This will add a link to the bottom of the console that you provide to us. If those are checked and it still refuses to reopen after the crash then look in the minecraft folder of the pack that you were using for a folder named 'crash-reports' Inside that folder there should be a text file or a few. Open the most current in either notepad or another text editor and copy that information to pastebin.com manually and post the link that pastebin gives you here.
