Launcher Runs on 32 bit but not 64 bit Java 8 Release 231

Hi,

as the title describes I am able to get FTB launcher to run on 32bit version of the Java environment but not the 64 bit.

Basic computer specs:

as you can see I would ideally run 64 bit. Anyone else having an issue with this and know how to help?

i installed and reinstalled that several times. On the millionth re-install it seems to have resolved not really sure why. I am wondering if the 32 bit version and 64 bit version were conflicting some how since I had both installed, but all good now thanks.
