Windows .jar Launcher Not Downloading mods and launching as Vanilla

Hey My Launcher isn't updating properly
Is there any kind person who would upload their mods file to Mediafire or something and send over?
Preferably Compressed

The Auto updater Just Think's There's No Mods Available To download and Continues into Minecraft
no errors in console or anything like that though

I have deleted my FTBBeta Folder and Re downloaded everything
but when it Gets to the mods folder it just Shuts down with no logs as if its finished

Please Help :3

This seems to be a issue with the FTB download servers and im asuming it's beeing worked on.
What seems to happen is that the download gets stopped before completion for some reason, leaving you with a corrupted zip file.
So the launcher deletes all the mods to make room for the new ones, but the downloaded file can't be opened so the mod folder stays open.
Hopefully it will be fixed in a few hours

Sadly this problem has been going since early afternoon, if this is still going on that might mean something else is going on- though i think you are correct on why its happening. There was another thread this afternoon (from MST perspective) about it, and people all were seeing the launcher get like 80% of the file downloaded and then just die. My solution was for some reason, my friend got his to go- so he just sent me a copy of his folder. Uploading it would be kind of rough for any non-commercial distribution (not to mention probably aggravate the FTB team) since it was around 120 meg for the whole directory when zipped. Either way hope they/you get it fixed soon. Have faith it will be taken care of, there were gobs of people with the same issue today.

I went through many errors and fixed them myself

I just need a copy of the all the Configs in the config file

Yeah, sadly we'r not allowed to upload the FTB pack since only the FTB crew have the rights to distribute it.
It isn't a problem as long as it's on a small scale i guess, but if suddenly lots of other sites started mirroring the file without permission then i guess that would mean trouble.

As for the problem, they seem unrelated to the launcher seeing as people aren't able to downloading it directly eigther.

It's the same file as the launcher is trying to download, while i and many others have no troubles downloading it some simply aren't able to.
It seems somewhat related to the speed of their connection, people that are unable to download it have rapported speeds of 40kb/s on the download.
And i can't think of anything that would make the speed low and then drop the connection halfway, so im going with that it has to be creeperhost somehow.

Also worth mentioning that creeperhost is a UK based company so for them the problems started around 01:00.
Why anyone would push an update when their hosting company is soundly asleep is beyond me.
It's still just 11:00 there so while the problem have lasted for long haven't the creeperhost guys been at work for long.

True, for all i know they might have people on 24x7, but having a single person on site might not be enough if suddenly the whole world simultaniously tries to download a file from your servers.

@Lithia I applaud your skill but as Meldiron said, the distribution by third parties of the modpack and/or configs is not allowed. The link he gave is indeed very much save and for now the best solution for this issue.

Im not Planning on Re Distributing The files i just need to get small parts of the pack instead of the whole thing
Because My connection fades away on Big files an Interrupts the saving process :/

Yea, honestly, im surprised they don't provide 24/7 Support. As a web dev that would be a deal breaker to me for my web business as i work between 12am-6am most of the time. Then again this is not websites, and IS Minecraft... and they're one of the leaders in community hosts. Minecraft is all about going with the community option and supporting it, so only option is to pester Creeperhost to step up their game some and hire an overnight guy ... or just fold our hands, nut up and patiently wait for things to be fixed lol...
