Windows .exe Launcher failing to download anything.

I downloaded the launcher several times and it's unable to download any mod packs. I consulted my friend who uses this pack all the time and it seems that the launcher isn't able to connect to creeperhost. Is there anything i can do? I'm cautious about changing my internet firewall settings unless i can get a firm answer about the safety.

Yeh no one helped me out! Im just saying, If you look at the hosting servers for the FTB launcher you will notice that they are down. So I am guessing they are going to keep it up till they put out a new launcher.

Turns out everything works on my macbook just not on my pc rig
I'm tempted to wipe everything related to feed the beast and then re install it to get the "first time use" thing

For me the problem was that I set my download region.
I set it North America or something cause that's where I live obviously and I couldn't download anything, but I set it back to Automatic and it's working fine now.
