Hey there.

So, as the title suggests, FTB will launch, will start to dload, but at some point (it varies - I can go to task manager & kill Java and restart FTB and it'll load again, but freeze later on) it will fail on a connection and then eventually freeze entirely.

I've done a Pastebin for your perusal.

It's absolutely something that's arguing with my computer - I successfully dloaded it and ran on my laptop, but my laptop is not made for gaming and slow as hell for poor Minecraft.

Pastebin: http://pastebin.com/zfQ03WVP

My computer is AMD Phenom IIx4 840T processor, 2.90 GHz. 6 gigs ram, 64 bit, if that helps any. I'll never win techie of the week, but I'm not a total noob and this is driving me batty. Been trying for a few days to get this going.

Help pl0x! :) And any other info you need, just ask - I'll keep an eye on here to answer.

It's up to you to save me from more WoW and Portal 2 and working on Christmas Presents!

*places a bet on norton* :D
Also, portal 2 is amazing!
And while im here, what's the file path to your launcher?
Also, if you could try deleting the file called logindata in your FTB folder and ender your login details again in the launcher.

I'm using AVG. I'd rather throw my computer through a window and never game again than disgrace it with Norton LOL!

The file path is simple: Launcher is sitting on my desktop in a folder named 'FTB'.

I'll try deleting that folder and give it a shot.[DOUBLEPOST=1353040537][/DOUBLEPOST]

No soap. It actually crashed it. I deleted the entire folder (except the .exe launcher) entirely and re-launched it. Same problem.

...and yeah, portal 2 is awesome. :D

I only tell people to uninstall because you never really know if AVG actually turns off when you tell it to. Also, you never know if you have another program lurking in the background that is stopping you as well :) Glad it's working for ya!
