Mac Launcher Crash on Minecraft Launch

Java version:
Version 7 Update 25 (build 1.7.0_25-b15)
Detailed description of the issue / how can the issue be recreated:
I followed this tutorial (http://ftbwiki.org/Tutorial:Installing_Feed_The_Beast_on_Mac) and setup FTB in a subfolder of my Minecraft folder (.feedthebeast). I launch the FTB Launcher, everything is fine. I select my mod pack, it downloads the pack and begins to launch Minecraft. The Minecraft window opens, stays for a few seconds than closes, and the launcher crashes. I've included the log files below.

I'm brand-spankin' new to FTB, so this very well may be a simple fix, but I can't seem to see what I'm doing incorrectly. Thank you in advance!

That is not the recommended way. The recommended way from the tech support team is desk.feed-the-beast.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/9/0/basic-troubleshooting. Though the link says ftbwiki it is not owned by the FTB team. This is their wiki.feed-the-beast.com, not as pretty, but it is getting updated. Note that each has the name feed-the-beast.com in the link.

Thank you, followed that tutorial, downgraded my Java and reinstalled FTB, now the launcher hangs right after it sets the RAM. Anything else I should try?

Please post a new console, the launcher, log in debug mode like you did before so we can see why it is hanging.

It actually worked today, although Minecraft launched as 1.5.2. There was a lot of red and yellow lines in the log, so I posted it here: http://pastebin.com/ZtAy1GuT

I noticed that there was an update to Direwolf 20's pack this morning in the news, so maybe that fixed it?

A 1.6.x pack is not ready yet. The latest packs are for 1.5.2 Be careful making too much of an investment into the DW20 world right now. Please read the news before you do.
