Launcher closes, unknown error

Hello,

I just installed FTB on my laptop, and when I launch any modpack (I play DW20, Skies, and TPPI) the launcher will suddenly close. When I re-open the laucher and scroll to the top, I see this error in red:

From Console: Jun 23, 2014 10:11:00 AM java.util.prefs.WindowsPreferences <init>
WARNING: Could not open/create prefs root node Software\JavaSoft\Prefs at root 0x80000002. Windows RegCreateKeyEx(...) returned error code 5.

I tried to search that error message but came up empty.
Any thoughts on what I can do?

Lots of results for this error, looks like it's related to Windows permissions. Are you running as an admin or limited user? May want to try running FTB as admin once so it can create the keys.
