When you updated Java, you installed the 32-bit version of Java 1.7 instead of the 64-bit version. Uninstall ALL versions of Java from your computer, then restart it. Then download and install the 64-bit version of Java from here:

You should also tone down your RAM selection. If you only have 8 GB of RAM total, then you shouldn't try telling Java to use all of it; try setting the FTB launcher to use 4 GB.
