Problem LAN server issues

My brother and I play a lot of minecraft together on LAN servers. They were working fine up until the update to FTB unleashed.
Now when i scan for LAN games, it will not show up. We thought about what might be causing our dilemma, but had no luck. All the server support was full - on servers, not LAN ones. We are yet to find a solution and any help would be appreciated.

Just going to throw out the most common thing out there besides making sure you did open to lan but if it is wifi connections are you certain you are both on the same network? If that is not the issue then it may be a bug

Go back and try the old version and make sure it still works also. If it does then start debugging as that will make sure that it is not due to something else changing.
