LAN server issues

Details of the issue:
Hi guys! My friend openned his world to lan and we tried to play, but got a problem. He (being the "admin") cant interract with ANY blocks on the spawn area, but I can. What causes it and how to solve it? Please, help!​

did anyone of you claim the area you're in? Try and use the friend system and add each other and see if that solves the issue.

Check the symbols to the left of your inventory, should be the top one, and just click on your friend and "add" and then your friend needs to accept as well.
