Let me enlighten you on some things about my computer and what I have done to try and stop this:

-Tried installing Optifine (Of course it crashed but worth a shot, so I got rid of it)
-Have 8 GB of RAM, 50% of that is being used right now with FTB DW20 pack up and running
-My graphics card is up to date and is good enough to run this pack

Now, exactly, why am I getting lag spikes every 4 seconds or so? This is frustrating and very annoying.[DOUBLEPOST=1386722330][/DOUBLEPOST]Update : Wow, I am an idiot xD I just turned off Vsync and now it is working fine and dandy! I am laughing so hard right now![DOUBLEPOST=1386722496][/DOUBLEPOST]Update 2: Turning off Vsync only "helped" get rid of it, but I am still experiencing it, just to a lesser extent.

I dont have any answers right away - but something you can try:
Hit F3 and watch the FPS numbers are you play. That may give you a clue as to the source as you move around.

Also watch the ram usage.
I got some nasty lag spikes while playing RR because something was leaking memory BADLY. ram use would go from 10% to 90% in 2 seconds, lag and then repeat. I never did find out the cause of the ram spike

Been watching this already and it doesn't really help, the source isn't really anything in particular as far as I can tell. It might be chunk-loading but I don't know, I stand still in one area and it still happens.

I have my RAM monitor up and the grid shows a HUGE spike whenever a lag spike happens. Still need help on this.

Never mind, chunk updates have nothing to do with this. My FPS is simply rising and falling. Not sure why it is, but it is.
