Lag Issue

So when I check my internet speed it says 20mb download and 5mb upload. I'm getting a ping of like 15.
Most the time my FTB server runs awesome, then all of a sudden for a good period of time (few hours) it will lag down to the point it's unplayable.
I'll do a full restart of the server and client and the computers, and it's still super laggy. Then the next day it's working totally fine again, and at some point it'll lag back to unplayable for a while again.
Also, it's a pretty new world. Nothing complicated in it yet.

Has anyone had a similar thing happen to them? Is there any way to fix it?
I do have fastcraft in both server and client already.

Is it internet or FPS lag?

if it is internet then what is your isp, Do you have fiber or cable

If it is FPS then hand over some computer specs.

It's internet lag. Like I'll open a chest, wait half a minute, then it opens. FPS is fine. Running Bell with cable internet. The lag is happening for everyone on the server. I play on one computer, and run the server on the other.
The server computer has 10 gig ram, allocating about 6 gig to the server. There are usually max 3 people on the same time, usually only 1-2 though.
When I run the internet speed checker, I'm getting 20 download and 5 upload with a ping of 15. So really I wouldn't think it would be an internet problem, but that's what it looks like, so I'm confused.

Maybe contact your IP and find out if they are making any changes or anything...

Maybe it is a TPS issues?

Do you have FastCraft installed? I've heard it helps a lot.
