Hello everyone,
Yesterday I switched from a Norton trial to KIS 2013, because I still had Kaspersky with a license on my old PC (got a new laptop recently).
Frankly this wasn't a smart move though.. After moving to Kaspersky, it became impossible for my friends to join my home-hosted server which is on this laptop.
On this forum some questions were thrown about Exception errors of Java, because Java wasn't added to the trusted zone.
In this case, even when the exception rules has been modified to its needs, Kaspersky still blocks the incoming connections.
I've done the following steps, yet it fails:
Added Javaw to the trusted zone. (32 and 64-bit)
Added Java Web Start Launcher to the trusted zone.
Added FTB_Launcher.exe to the trusted zone.(This was only needed for fixing the exception error)
Added serverstart.bat to the trusted zone. (Not even needed Imo)
Excepted The FTB Folder (which has the Client and Server inside)Added Port 25565 TCP (in and outcoming) to the packet rules in Kaspersky's Firewall.
A little note, Localhost connection works flawlessly and the server worked fine when I had Norton.
Anyway, I was wondering, does anyone know the solution for this issue?
Grtz,
Jockie
