Just Updated and Server just crashes

I'm posting on behalf of my friend who runs the server, I feel responsible for his server crashing as he updated the server and now all it does is crash. Here's the Info....

If you don't mind, could you post what mitigation steps were taken to get your server back up and running? You may be able help a few people through your efforts.

Agree. Post in the sollution ! This is one of the tech section rules!

I think he/she added the new version to the the old version he/she had and so he/she had duplicate mods but with different name or number

Had to delete some of the files he already had, had duplicate folders going on
