I've found that the mods I have opposed due to "not fitting with Minecraft" are actually the ones I've found the most fun with. Thaumcraft & MEkanism top that list and I simply won't play modded Minecraft without them.

My ideas was hiding pipes and wires by placing it on block(shift righht click to ignore this effect, the cables would blend in but you can see they are there) and thaumcraft aspectsme neither. i'm just speculating based on names and supported mods.
