Hey guys I thought I would start a new world today and keep you guys updated :). I am using Direwolf20 1.6 version 1.0.21,
however I added about 18 mods and have disabled only one mod, Journey Map.

Advanced genetics

Damage Indicators

Backpack Mod

Better Storage

Compact Windmills

JABBA

Magical Crops

Mimicry

Nether Ores

Power Converters

Quarry Plus

Zenos Reliquary

Rouge Like Dungeons

Torch Levers

TC Forbidden Magic

Aroma 1997 Core

Carpenters Blocks

Chisel

Idfixminus - Had to use this due to conflicting IDs

I used BoP world generation and the seed: Jus2Beast FtB Adventure.

I spawned in a forest biome which was bordering the a small ocean with a cherry blossome grove, desert, and a fairly big slime
island with 3 trees! and a Witchwood forest biome nearby perfect for start Ars Magica :).

After harvesting the village and leaving those who were outside to their demise, I went to hunt for shelter for the near
aproaching night! Unfortunatly there was no blacksmith, but there was plenty of Tinkers Construct villagers, perfect for my starter
tools :).

I say farwell to the village as I hunt for my home! (Notice them villagers huddling under that tree?)

So, I went exploring for a few minutes but sunset was very close. I was about to create my first hovel when I found a Rouge Like
dungeon in the distance, instantly I made a break for it, knowing I would find the safety of a bed and a few resources, and from
their my first challenge began. To conquer this dungeon!

I started the raid, but this was no easy job. So I only did the first 2 layers, and I got a lot of goodies :) Inlcuding a builders
wand! I also unlocked the secrets of the arcane!

So I finally got to the bottom floor, but I died MANY MANY times, this is all the loot I could recover

So I finally decided to settle down in an area with a redwood not too far off, and a village on my doorstep (Another one!)

I will try and update this every other day! If you guys have any tips or want me to make certain things please post below. :)

personally I love magical mobs like blood magic and thaumcraft but first you should do like the tech stuff just a little oh and I love caving and splunking and TiCo

Do what ever feels natural to you. Right now I am focusing on the magic mods do have plans for the tech mods one day in my merry trip in horizons

Ah :). I usually do thaumcraft mid game, I hope to explore into forbidden magic addon :)



My next update will be on Monday/Tuesday when I have done a fair bit of mining and have basic machines setup :)

When I tried to create machines, I realised the resources from the dungeon were not enough, so I decided to go mining for an hour.

Then the first 9x9 creation began! I decided to go with 2 9x9s and 1 long room 18x9 behind it... (I told you im not creative :c)

Built my smeltery! Working on the tools next, might go with steel for my first tools.

Now, I have started some actual machines. I am going to start with magmatic engines till I can get a more stable, consistent power
source! No kidding around, jumped straight into the 2nd tier of conduits/energy storage :).

So I decided to go to the nether... Big mistake the pigmen were aggro D: luckily my sword could handle them in 2 hits.

So next im hoping to delve into a few more machines, and when I get a stable power source I will make a small AE system. However primarily im going to start Ars Magika 2!

haha awesome, I would say have a modular base set up and maybe start quarries, maybe mystcraft if you don't wanna wreck your own world

very nice can you ever have to big a smeltery? Your bass is looking better then mine still. I am still currently living in my hole in the side of the moutain that I started with.
