Jetpack in Unleashed broken?

So when I wear my electric jetpack, it constantly drains power, regardless of whether I'm ascending (or falling while in hover mode). I could put it on, wait 2 minutes, and it'd be drained dry, without even moving.
Sometimes the EU charge resets a bit, and goes back up. No idea why.
Just want to make sure this isn't a new element to it or something, or if anyone else is having this problem.
 
Descending in hover mode consumes power as it tries to slow down your falling speed.
I do not have problem with jetpack consuming power while standing still.
 
Are you using the advanced one? Press F to toggle it on and off, but it'll constantly drain when it's on.

Sorry thats not to say I had a problem before Hover Mode though. just don't like it without hover mode.
Looking at consumption you should be able to travel at least a 1000m without running out of power.
Voxel waypoint.
 
Do you have modular power suit tools or armor pieces on or any other electric tools/armor? It wouldn't surprise me, if something else besides your jetpack itself is draining that power.
 
Tools won't draw power from a normal electric jetpack, only from an advanced one.
 
Hmmm I do have powersuit leggings and helmet, so that might be the problem. Thanks for the help. I'll have to try out some different combinations.
 
Oh? Then that is certainly not by design. MPS probably doesn't check if the chest slot item has a charging ability, only if it has a power storage.
