Details of the issue:

I start up FTB for the first time and launch Sky Factory 2.5 . I wait while it loads.At the start I check my phone and then turn back to see the launcher again.I'm confused so I check the Log. Scroling up I see a red line that says some gibberish and that there is a problem with Java. I go to the options bar in the launcher and see that my Java version is outdated. So I update it. Then I come back and it tells me that I need a bigger version. So I download it. (I close the launcher before downloading) For some reason it restart my computer and after that i can't open the launcher.​

Try opening the .jar version from http://ftb.cursecdn.com/FTB2/launcher/FTB_Launcher.jar

Also, if you manage to get it open but still can't play a modpack, we need a log http://support.feed-the-beast.com/t/finding-the-logs/22669
