Actually, I've been going over the 1.12.2 mods available on the now Twitch app and watching others play some of the new packs while I waited for my key favorites to update. I'm seeing a handful of mods that look interesting on their own but would be meaningless to add to a big, kitchen sink style pack. So, I have an initial list of mods and have made a first pass through the configs.
The core mods are Kitsu's ForgeCraft (meaning also Primal Core), Thaumcraft 6, Advanced Rocketry, and AE2, all on a Skylands (floating islands with no bedrock beneath) overworld generation.
