Items not dropping at all

Title Items not dropping at all

Details of the issue I've been playing a couple days and certain items like lapis and red stone will not drop from gravel/sand/dust. I've sieved 3 stacks of each type to make sure it wasn't just a low probability and 1 stack of compressed gravel as well but zero red stone or lapis or crushed black quartz and I'm sure I'm missing some others as well but those are the ones I'm looking for and just can't find.

Are you using the right mesh in your sieve?

Check NEI/JEI for the right one
