They are the same thing in the ore dictionary, disallow ore dictionary filtering.

I'm having a little confusion as well. I'm blacklisting the ores, but they won't stop going into the filter I have for gems. I'll show the setup.

In the picture you have there, you're white listing them, meaning only the things you've specified (the ores) will enter that duct

You need to change the triangle button to black to blacklist the ores
