Hello all. I'm wondering if there is an existing mod out there that limits the # of items a person can place into a given world. Example: Allow up to 4 quarries by a single player.

This should help. I am aware it's a plugin, but it has clear instructions for how to use it.

Thanks Matt. Question though. As this is a plugin, it requires something like mcpc to use. But it seems that mcpc (aka cauldron) has disappeared due to DMCA takedowns. Is there another solution to it? Running 1.6.4.

You'll have difficulty given 'block placer' machines can be used to circumvent those plugins.

Try using Minetweaker to disable the crafting recipe, and have an admin trade them to players.
