It seems many items have no uses or recipes [Mindcrack pack]

I started a new world wiht the Mindcrack pack, but something seems off with NEI. For example if I look up steel, it says the only way I can make it is by smelting steel dust. If I press 'R' over steel dust, nothing happens; so there is no way to make steel dust?

Another example, quartz. I press 'U' over quartz and the game just lags for a second and nothing happens. Is there no use for quartz?

It's missing NEI Plugins for some reason. For example, it's showing none of the Rolling Machine recipes.

Quartz is from Xycraft, so you know it's useless.

Is there a way to get the plugins from elsewhere? I want to know how to make steel with this pack. Before it was just iron in blast furnace.

I just wish we'd get clarification on whether this is intentional or merely an oversight, since it's a bit annoying to modify the modpack (as opposed to the "works out of the box" experience).

The Mindcrack pack is up to v.4 now. so unless you already have. let it update to the new version and see if it's gotten better. the plugins will be added sooner or later.

Here is the fix:

• Download NEIPlugins-1.0.4.1 from mistaqur
• Copy it into FTB\MindCrack\minecraft\mods
• Restart minecraft
