It ain't working...

Hey guys.

I have downloaded the FTB .exe file onto my Vista computer, and I open it. For the first couple of times I play, it works brilliantly and I have very little technical trouble.

Then, the next day, I notice there's a new version of the launcher. I press 'yes' to the dialogue box asking if I want to update, and it does. I then try to open DireWolf20's mod-pack, me being a huge fan, but when I press the launch button in the bottom right corner, it just stays on that screen for an indefinite amount of time.

I have waited for 30 minutes, and my patience is running low.

Sorry if this is a bug on my part - please tell what I have to do!?

In the console window that appears when running the FTB Launcher you can click the Sent to Pastebin (or something like that I'm not at home at the moment) button. The logs from this will help greatly in working out your problem. Perhaps also your PC specs would help.

How do I access the logs? I ticked the box, but now it just opens the ModPack and nothing else

When you open your launcher, make sure you have the Console set to Show. Copy the stuff in there.

Ok, I got the console open... But now its just white, with no writing on it. Even I know there's meant to be some nlack text tjere, right?

Does the console stay empty thats not normal, there should be alot of texts in it.
Does the launcher stay on the screen where you can press launch? if so - is your profile maybe gone (aka your minecraft login)?

Have you tried to "force-update"?
Perhaps that may help if the pack is not working at all.

1) Quickly checked th log, first row i see is java 6 - Update to Java 7 (java.sun.com)

2) Not sure if the launcher is working from a Quick Launch Location from inside Internet Explorer. Maybe download the pack instead off running it off the website.
