Title Issues loading Witchery

Launcher Type Vanilla

Modpack

Modpack version

Have you modified the pack? No

Link to log file

Details of the issue I am trying to load Witchery via Minecraft Launcher 1.11.2. I have Forge API's latest version installed, I placed Witchery in the Mods folder. Whenever I try to create a world it crashes without creating a crash report file.

I am trying to load Witchery by itself as my system cannot handle an entire modpack like Infinity Lite.

The most recent version of Witchery is only for 1.7.10 - if I'm reading what you've written correctly, you're trying to use it with 1.11.2 - that's just not going to work unfortunately!

So I can't load the game in a previous version? Do I need to have Forge API 1.7.10?

You absolutely can! :) ok, so here's where it gets a bit complicated: you need the right version of forge, but then you should be able to load up the instance, then close it, stick Witchery in the mods folder and load it up again. I wish I could explain better; I actually use the vanilla launcher for modded myself so I should be able to! :p

EDIT: this is the instructions as provided by the guy that runs the server I used to play on:

Use curse launcher and create a Custom profile, select the Minecraft version and Modloader version (forge), that you want - then add the mods you want.
