Isn't there the block placing flower in Botania? Ransomethingpus? Can your make a floating version and set it only top of a tilled dirt block?

Apparently the rannuncarpus won't recognise farmland (I haven't tried myself), but the dispenser is specifically modifed by Botania to be able to sow seeds.

Rannuncarpus flower. Ok.
I need 10-12 types of dirt. :-(
But may be ThaumicInfusion will help with dirt types.
