Is there something like "ftb ready to run"?

is there something like a ready to run version of any ftb server version, with griefer protection, backup and all the stuff needed/usefull for running a semi-public server? I found already something like "ForgeEssentials", but nothing bukkit-like with anti-grief, regions and so on...

Publicly I do not think there is any. Privately there are a few, but the people that have made it really work (without banning items) usually hold onto it has they have had to put a ton of work into make it all work correctly (alot of decompiling deofb then recompile reobf). If you want 90% protection just installing mytown (if you like towny) will cover it, and then forgeessentials and forge backup.

Also alot depends on what you consider needed/useful stuff as I don't consider griefer protection needed as I run a grief/raid server so no point for me to have it all, and personally by using a few mods there is more then enough means of instant transport for the lazy and ways to customize your protection (MFFS / mystcraft / wardedblocks).

Agreed, I'd recommend you install MCPC+ which can be found on Google pretty easily, then use something like grief prevention and/or essentials

And MCPC+ plays nicely with FTB/ForgeModLoader?
