Is there an updated AE1-like mod?

Well I guess it wouldn't be impossible to do the same, but instead of using AE, use Log. Pipes. That way you are doing your auto-crafting as you do now, but instead of only 1 craftable per block, it's a lot more.

I'm using logistics pipes currently. But I don't know of any way to craft multiple per block (crafting modules don't work currently).

The RFTools crafter can do up-to 8 recipes in one block.

As I said, Steve's Factory Manager... it has free auto-crafting capabilities

Another thought would be to talk to the Extra Cells 2 guys, and maybe ask for an ME interface with more slots. It seems like something they could get behind.

Now this is a great idea. Even if the AE team could add it. Instead of using the normal ME interface, they add a new one that is specifically for crafting that has more slots. Very interesting idea.
