Is there an easy way to find available/free block IDs?

I'm trying to add enchanting plus, and it has a conflict, apparently, with the default enchanting table. I guess I need to change the config file or something. I'm not really familiar with doing this, other than knowing I need to assign it to a new id.

Edit* nevermind, it's normal for enchanting plus to override the enchanting table, haha

That said, my question still stands. Is there a tool or an easy way to find available block IDs that your current Minecraft setup isn't using?

NEI has an option to create a file with either all used or all available IDs, both blocks and items. Look in the in-game NEI options menu.
