I have searched and tried a few programmes but I cant find what i am after.

Does any-one know of a programme that can take a FTB save file and count all the ores automatically?

Count all the ores? Like how many different kinds and quantities of "ore" blocks are in the world? Why in the world would you need to do that? Ores are generated on chunk loading for the first time, the number you get would depend on how far you've walked from spawn. If you want something that would count all the ores in a specific chunk, maybe something like MC edit?

I was looking for a way to kind of keep track of the blocks in the world and how many ive mined as a little personal project.

There is http://nemesis.evalq.net/RedPower2/ore_dist/ which is a customized version of a script written with the https://github.com/mcedit/pymclevel Python library meant for use with RedPower 2 on its own. Not sure if there exists a version for FTB or if one could easily be written.

If only I could code Python.
