Hello everyone,
I m sorry to ask here about that i m lost.
I have a problem with NEI when i want to change from recipe mode to cheat or utility mode i can't do it.
The problem is NEI is configured like recipe mode and still like that.
i was thinking if it's specific to a modpack (i use horizons 2.1.0) and i have played on another modpack (direwolf20 1.0.19).
I have the same issue...
hmmm i search were to post that question if it's a bug or not and i still have no idea about.
Sorry i still a very new user of minecraft i simply play the game and test all i did not try to change any configs.

i hope you can help me with that.
My configuration is :
windows 8 64 bits
minecraft FTB launcher 1.3.6
i use modpacks in 1.6.4 especially horizons and Direwolf20 modpacks.

are both world and global set to cheat?

Okay i have never seen this option before and effectively the letter "W" was checked when i have world instead of global.
I never know we can change that to override that's proove i learn each day

Oh, that's probably why I was having problems the other day with setting the inventory mode to recipe but still getting items cheated in when I clicked them.

@MasterJ It's not a bug, it's a "Feature".
Also this thread helped me as well, fix another config and I'm good? OK.
