Hi. I'm just curiouse, is it possible to stick thaumic bees in serums?
I had 8 stark bees.... stuck 8 of them in the machine that puts there traits into a serum.
I tried to get a stark species serum but it took far to long... so now i'm left with one bee.
I don't want to risk putting my last stark bee in the machine.
So yeah... hopefully some one knows if its possible.
Thanks For reading! :)

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.
You mean make a stark bee serum- yes.

Any bee type/trait can be made into serums and inoculated onto another bee.

Serum making works with a random chance, so with each bee theres a possibility of a stark serum, at the risk of said bee.
So its better to keep a breeding pair of stark bees, and put the extra drones into the isolator/genepool.

I don't see why not. Just breed a bunch with chocolate frames and get the useless drones' serum

Edit: my first ninja

Because they use aura and cause flux? By that logic, people would just avoid the entire Thaumcraft mod like the plague.

if people have the choice between an item that's free to use, or an item that creates flux and uses aura, 9 out of 10 times they go for the free use item.

Meh, the flux mechanic in TC 1.4/5 isn't really that life killing (imo, I could care less for wisps xDD, and I never see giant angry zombies), so I'd use them, if I could find a node to call home -_-.

The OP uses Oblivion Frames, which produce just as much flux if not more than Necrotic Frames do and are not replaceable.

Personally, I'm not a fan of something generating flux on a long-term basis. When I'm mucking around with it, it's fine, but when I wander off to do something else and the flux just keeps being built up, then I'm not as keen.

Once again, Oblivion Frames create flux too. Why one, but not the other?

And either frame is only going to be active for a very short, limited amount of time due to how quickly they kill off the bee they're paired with. Only reason the frame would be off fluxing it up indefinitely is if you automated the bee, which begs the question of why you're using a bee-killing frame in the first place.

To speed up the process.
