Is it possible to delete thaumcraft data for players on a server?

I need to get my thaumcraft data removed on my friend's server because I accidentally read from a cheat sheet book. So far deleting my player.dat hasn't worked but it did take all my levels
Point being, we need to get rid of my research. Since I'm the only one who has tried thaumcraft we don't care if all players data for thaumcraft gets removed, we just want to keep the mod.

Thaumcraft a few builds back moved the resreach data out of the player.dat

tc_research.<username> in the same directory where the level.dat is where it should be now.

Correct.. I'm not at home right now but I can check later tonight. I have not had a need to mess with the resreach in while so it might have moved again. He pulled it out of player.dat to make it easyer to add/remove as needed without wiping a player.

Ok at least according to this http://thaumcraft-3.wikia.com/wiki/Changelog in it is in the player.dat file since 3.0.2

n the ongoing battle to prevent data loss, research data is now saved with the players vanilla NBT data. As a happy side-effect this seems to solve the offline/online issue. \o/

So it has been awhile looks like I got the move backwards. But you said you deleted your player dat already and that did not remove the research so that odd.

Maybe a closer look inside the player.dat would give me my answers. I'll try to look for more sources too...
