I play on an ultimate 1.12 server and I have found the applied energetics version 9i it uses is extremely buggy with regards to the MAC. Is there anyway to upgrade just that mod in the pack to at least version 10 while leaving the rest alone? If so does anyone know of a guide on how to do that? Thanks.

yes. open the mods folder of the server, rename the AppliedEnergistics.zip to AppliedEnergistics.zip.DISABLED then put the version of AppliedEnergistics you downloaded in there instead. you shouldn't have to rename it.

I tried this a few times and it throws back an error when I try to start the game about missing a forge mod. I did some further checking and I think any version after 9i may not be compatible with mine craft 1.4.* so I may just be out of luck. It makes me sad that Ultimate will never work right if this is true.

I am looking desperately for a fix to this myself. It just randomly uses odd resources wasting them and is not working correctly in current version
