Hello guys, I'm about to buy this computer, is it a good one ? How fast can I run with it on Feed the Beast ?

Acer Aspire TC Desktop
Intel Core i7 4790 3.6GHz
16 GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 745 4GB dedicated
2TB hard drive 5400 rpm

Yes, how much are you paying for it? And you should be able to get good performance, and I wanna know how well you play with/without FastCraft on this computer.

You should really get at least a HDD running at 7,200 RPM as I heard the 5,400 RPM ones aren't good overall. Bonus points if you can get a SSD and load the OS+Minecraft on it and then load everything else on a HDD.

^Like he said SSDs are good for booting up but they aren't necessary and fastcraft is basically the only way that people with lower performance computers play modded 1.7.10 but I kinda wanna know how well they work with this computer you have, I know infinity has it but I'm not sure which other ones have it.

Honestly, there are four computer brands I consider good. HP, Apple, Cybertron and I can't think of the last. Look up the best gaming computer, it's some $4,000 thing, that's the last brand. This is random order, not from best to worst or anything. I find acre just sucks more often than not.

CPU and RAM are excellent. However, bottleneck is disk I/O.

Swap 2TB spinning drive with a 120MB or 240/250MB SSD drive and you'll have an awesome PC.
