Iron transport pipes keep changing by themselves.....

So I made a UU-matter farm with block breakers, recyclers and mass fabs. I have the scrap being pumped into the mass fabs with stone and iron transport pipes. it was all working smoothly and then i checked up on it 10min later and realized there was no scrap in either of the mass fabs. the recyclers were empty with scrap and still pumping more and i realized all the scrap were trapped between two iron pipes because the last one had the output on the wrong side. So, i fix that and go about my day. i come back 10min later and its the same problem. the last pipes input/output are switched again. so i fix it. Again it happens, and now im wondering why the hell is the last pipe changing every few minutes. no1 is on hte server except me so its not trolling.
is htis a bug or what? any tips?

Be certain that nothing in the area is emitting a redstone signal. That should cause the orientation of the iron pipe to change.

ah didnt know redstone signals do that
i had some redstone torches powering redstone engines near it lol.
ill change the pipes to diamond pipes. thanks for ur help!
