Thermal expansion has something called a reactant dynamo. In the configs you can give iron a value in RF and that's how much it's now worth in a reactant dynamo

What would be a balanced amount of rf for an iron ingot?
There are some defaults in the config for other items. I'd say between redstone and glowstone. That said I'm not the most experienced with these configs so it's really up to you to find the right balance point.

Depends on how fast your farm produces iron, how much of it you want to burn, and how much RF you want your system to produce. And your personal tastes relating to overpoweredness, of course.

Perhaps you should leave the iron, and work instead with the flowers?

Biofuel is a first thought, but lets go a little classier then that. Mix the red dye with bonemeal to get pink dye and put that into a pink generator.

You can be unique and lovely.

It should be noted that this is cheating, although that should be obvious anyway.

To be honest I am glad you are making your own pack, I enjoy seeing other people work on their own packs and customizing things to their liking. I base my packs off of monster and then add more mods to it, I usually go on the opposite route of making it extremely difficult as that is just how I like to play, as I spend atleast 5+ hours a day on my world and I want to make sure it lasts :). More power to you! Good luck!

Kind of beside the point of this thread, but if I were to add one magic mod to 1.6.4 what should I add?
