Iron Tank Help?

Why cant I pump out of an iron tank I have tried both liquiducts and waterproof pipes neither work any suggestions on how to fix this?

are you attaching them to the valve?

Ya the pipes connect they just don't pull out

well I know to take them out with the water proof pipes you need a wooden water proof pipe and an engine or a gate

Try switching the valve to the bottom of the tank and also which pack and what version are you using?

If I break the block on the bottom of the tank wont the liquid disappear and Mindcrack pack version 8.2.0

Sorry for not being a whole lot of help but I'm glad you got it fixed.

I'm sure this has been pointed out.

But tanks can only draw liquids that are At or Above the level of value is at. So values on the top really are only good for input for Rail Craft tanks.

well so much for me testing this in my test world to make sure liquids can only do at valve levels

LOL! trying to pump air as far as I can see.

obviously valves go under or the lowest part of the side.

From the wiki: "It should also be noted that Buildcraft or Redpower Pipes and Liquid Loaders will only interface with Valve blocks and that tanks can only be drained from Valve blocks in the bottom two layers."
I think he forgot to say that you can also drain it from the base

The bottom two layers are the very bottom and the second layer. In other words what you seem to be calling the base and first layer. The frame at the bottom that is required is the first layer.
