Iron guardian server bug

Recently on a server I play on, I set up an animal farm using the Soul shard mod which drops the cows and pig to their deaths and spawns in the chickens on the bottom level. on the bottom level I placed two Speedy wood Golems and two SMART iron guardians, which I told to kill animals

now the golems attack the chickens but do no damage. funny to watch as two iron golems run around trying to hug all the chickens. I have trusted thaumcraft in the grief protection plugin but still no joy

Any ideas?

I think is the plugging, because latest Direworlf video he did a farm and totally works
