I have become completely spoiled with Invtweaks to the point where playing without it is just a headache to me.. The Inventory/Chest sorting is what I really miss. Having everything everywhere gives me a headache and moving all the crap around when you have chests upon chest full of stuff is mind numbing...
Seems the author of the mod is thinking about abandoning the project? Which is really sad considering this is by far my fav mod its just such simple but yet extremely useful thing to have.

The author mentioned in his post about giving it to tekkit.. Which I really hope he doesn't..

I really wish I knew how to code so I could write a mod like this. Maybe someone will take it over? Maybe even someone from ftb.. or an independent modder.
 
The most useful thing in this mod is when using the last block in your hotbar and it instantly gives you the next stack.
I am getting so used to this feature. :)
 
are you playing 1.4.2 ftb? because as far as I know there is no offical 1.4.6 invtweaks and the Un-official one doesn't seem to work.. I think..
 
Yah I def cannot get the Un Official update to work with 1.4.6 Mindcrack pack... I've put it into the Clients Mod folder and it crashers my client every time.
 
Well, I think the author got overwhelmed by the 1.3 update as many mods did.

Starting with 1.3, it started to make items go back to the chest/inventory after moving things, having quite a delay for replacing tools in the main bar and other things like that.

It is sad, but it might be an opportunity to start it fresh again, by someone else, rather than iterating on something flawed, but that might only be my wishful thinking.

Unfortunately, I believe that the delay is unavoidable. The delay is the server round trip latency time, not bad coding.
 
i am currently using inventory tweaks with the mindcrack pack let me go get the details

Im just using the unofficial release. i did add through the FTB launcher (first tab) if that makes a difference
 
Yes the unofficial update 1.4.6 for inventory tweaks works for me on mindcrack SSP . I added it using the FTB launcher loaded it into the mods section .
 
After the mindcrack v5 and v6 updates Invtweaks works now for some reason not sure why it wouldnt work before.
 
Which version were you using? The unofficial version (which may become official), updated to 1.47 but mindcrack uses 1.46.

If you used 1.47 that may have a bad bug in it. It doesn't using 1.47 just fine.
