Inviciple with Rubber-Boots

Hey Guys,

im pretty sure, this is a bug and not a feature, but i dont take any damage with just rubber-boots on. (really nothing at all, i can swim in lava forever or been shot by skeletons or whatever)

Im playing with the latest release of the Modpack with Win7, if this is a matter...

Does anyone have the same experience?

I've seen this in a few other reports, and I think the Powers that Be know about it already.
