That's the Tinker's Construct inventory.

You can put heart containers and knapsacks in it currently, and nothing else. Putting a knapsack in there will open up a third inventory.

Which is basically a small chest's storage.
I'm thinking about scrapping galacticraft for this unless it makes a "4th tab in the inventory" or something when tinkers construct is installed.

You don't have to, TC has it's own hotkey for opening up the separate inventory. Put that as R or something and you can access both inventories.

Well I know, but that method is horribly inconvinient, as I'm used to e.
