I have been having an issue with the mindcrack pack, since v5 or so. Whenever I open my inventory screen with 'e' or open up the inventory of a machine or chest, get a massive lag spike and a large amount of disk activitiy. I'm pretty sure its client side only, since my mouse cursor will jump around a bit and move slowly.
The lag lasts for about 5 seconds most of the time, though its lasted as long as 20 seconds, and it gets especially bad if I open my inventory just for a moment (say, accidently) and immediately close it again.
Its gotten to the point where I will plan my actions in advance to minimize the number of times I need to open up an inventory.
Does anyone else have the same issue? Did you find a way to fix it? I ask, bc I don't have the same trouble on a direwolf20 modpack and am hopeful that someone has a solution.
edit: And i've tried turning off nei using 'o' to see if thats the cause, with no luck.
