Summary of the problem Inventory items disappearing (1.7.0)
Pack Version 1.5.3
What is the bug? When sorting inventories, either chests or personal, sometimes, but not often, an item will disappear. As far as I could notice, the disappearing item will be in your personal inventory. I have not noticed any item gone from other inventories.
I suspected as much when misc. blocks seemed to not be there anymore, but dismissed as me being forgetful, having placed them, but it happened on my Immersive Engineering's toolbox, which was mostly full. At the time, the toolbox was not in the hotbar, but in my personal inventory.

Is it repeatable? Yes, but it's difficult to notice (unless actively looking for it, but I have not specifically tried that).
Known Fix Of all the items I have seen disappear, I do not recall any being in the hotbar. This might help for items worth a lot.
Alternately, don't use sort (middle mouse button).
