Invalid username/password

I looked thru the forums and this is a reoccurring issue but not one of those threads listed a fix of any kind only "help" given is someone saying that that the causes changed every time but not that there is a way to get it to work.

first time using your launcher I've reinstalled it deleted and re added profile

invalid username/password
yes it is the correct email and password
yes it is a valid account

if you have windows, then you should try downloading Windows Offline (64-bit) that seemed to have fixed it for me. idk if it'll work for you though.

there are 2 types of minecraft logins a strictly minecraft log in (the old setup), and a mojang migrated account. You sure you have and are logging in using the right one?

other than that unless we see log files we can only guess your problem.
