Why not modern fantasy? I mean, personally I prefer medieval sort of fantasy but I'd like to hear opinions.
I would have no idea what to write about stuff. How do you even react in that kind of world? I would prefer the well known themes, particularly post-apocalyptic.
Just wondering, what did you vote j?
Also... what's so hard about working out what to write/react compared to any other scenario?

Almost no scenario except for slice of life is well-known. If I was to make a post-apocalyptic, I would not make it like other worlds which people know about and get how scenarios work, like the walking dead, or the last of us.
Also, by the way, I am not making slice of life. Nope nope nope nope nope.

Slice of life? What? Anyway, I meant that in a moderneival world I would not know what my character would think was normal.
Slice of life is just meant to be no magic, no tech, just modern, pretty much otherwise normal life. Something that actually could happen in our world in the present.

I'd just assume that technology is standard as per today, but no-one knows about your magical-ish powers unless the GM states otherwise. As a general rule, the GM should be able to clarify any questions you have on that front regarding the theming.

That is the only Med Fantasy RP I have on the go atm. I'm also in ERode's animu Sci-FI RP, and a Dark Near-future War/Horror RP.
