Hello fellow gamers!

So I have only just finished polishing off 2 IESU's and made a solar energy farm far far far away from my base on the MindCrack 8.2.0 modpack. I was only to be disappointed after setting up approximately 6x64 Advanced Solar Panels + 18 Ultimate Hybrid Solar Panels that the IESU will only transfer energy from one location to the other at 2048eu/t. Which is VERY strange and frustrating considering all of the other energy storage devices output in packets. (BatBox, MFE, MFSU, AESU.)

Now the maximum amount of power I can get from my solar farm to base is 2048 eu/t. (Which is merely 4 ultimate hybrids) Not even nearly enough to power the amount of automation I have activated.

Is this a bug, or do you guys know any fixes to my problem because I put a lot of effort into my farm, and I also have very poor fps when my solar panels are nearby.

Thanks,
Jhyn

More IDESU is the fix as each can output that much so two will be 4096eu/t and so on when you add more units.

My solars are outputting nearly 10,000 and I plan to add more. Damn, I wonder if they could fix this?

Yes so 4 more will pull out a little more than 10k eu/t but getting all those plates is not going to be easy so you'll be stuck for a while on 2048eu/t.

Then why in the world do you need solar panels?? an fully auto Fusion Reactor will run all your machines unless you of course funnel all the power to a row of matter fabs.

But that is exactly the problem, and Matter Fabricator can take 8192 eu/p, which essentially means you could have 1000 fusion reactors (4x supercondensated ea) into one matter fab. Correct me if I am wrong!

No do you not know how much eu those things output?? they output 32768eu/t!! that's enough for at least 4 I think.

Can a matterfab therefore not take in an infinte amount of eu?????? Due to it not having a eu/t max?

(And btw Fusion reactor with 4 supercondensators --> 32768/4 = 8192 :) )

Yea gotta get used to having it only taking in up to 8192eu/t since greg is nerfing the current one to only take up to that amount.

Are you serious! Why!!!!! EU would be so much better if everything was just dealt in packets ffs!!! AHHHH

Before 2.90g, Matterfab can take up to 1,000,000 eu/t.. after that 8192 eu/t.

Im not sure what you are reffering to, but are you sure its not 8192/p because currently mine is sucking up 40,000 eu/t (Including packets of 32,512, and 8192) from the fusion reactor + solars.

It's the nerf that'll be in effect when the packs update with GT in it as well as a complete change to the Fusion Reactor system. Check the change logs for complete details.

If you are using the old version of fusion reactor then it's before 2.90g.

Everything deals in packets, but matter fabricator will just have max speed, corresponding to 8192 Eu/t. IESU can accept infinite number of packets per tick, but will only output one 2048 packet per tick, exactly like Batbox, MFE, MFSU, transformers (they emit 4 packets when they are not inverted).

May I ask if this solar farm is in the same world?
If it's just in a desert, let it be known that rain is dimentional. Though the graphic isn't seen, the rain effect does exist in the desert.

nope, 2048 a tick. In a single 2048 packet. You can pump in alot more, so if you just have 1 idsu as input and 4 as output, you'll be able to transfer 8192EU/t
