Mac Installing help

Please help i have downloaded the launcher and downloaded a mod pack from it but when i open the mod pack with the launcher it does not work to be more specific When i download mod it no work here is the minecraft log

Please attempt to launch the modpack, and open a new world save to make sure the setup is correct.
Now, continue on to check your previous saves, changes to the pack, textures, etc. until you're able to reproduce the error with the clean setup.

No it did not help it has the same log as it did before

I doubt that. Or, you're still using Java 7.

I thought java 7 was the latest java I will try a new java what one should i use

If you are using Mac, you need to be using Java 6.

You can if you update LWJGL to 2.9.0.

Not all users have reported being able to use 7 with 2.9
