This is a nightmare, all the tutorials on modding the minecraft server are in French.

I have the ultimate server downloaded and I want to set it up with my very games minecraft server. I have openmod java installed. Please help me with this.

I know nothing about VeryGames (never heard of them before this thread), so I apologise if this is wrong, but looking on their site they offer FTP access. You could access this via FTP and just replace /games/minecraft folder with the stuff from the server zip file.

That doesn't work, I've tried that before :( I have to do something with the openmod java file and when I've tried editing it the server just won't start. Thank you for your help though!

Have you contacted their support? I'd suggest looking on their forums but they seem to be down.

I have contacted them but no heard anything and I don't think they will help as they said they don't support the openjava mod and I have had no help on the forums.

Now I'm going to be brutally honest with you, this company sounds shit and doesn't deserve your hard earned money. There are many other server providers out there, many of which even support easy installations of ftb mod packs.

I agree with you, I went with them before and they were good because of their unlimited RAM but I think I made a mistake now.

No problem, all I needed to do was download the server version of FTB upload it to the FTP server in the openmod java file and then in the server settings in the control panel change the command line to ftbserver.jar.

Once this is done you need to download the FTB launcher as it's not possible to play it on the normal Minecraft launcher. (This is the mistake I made, doh!)

This should work :)
